Lawrence County Dog Shelter

Dogs that is!

This weekend, the team from Trinity and Homewood Homes (sales, management and construction) are headed to Lawrence County to the Lawrence County Dog Shelter. We plan to spend the weekend doing a rapid “shelter” makeover in improvements to this shelter in need.

Our improvements will include central air conditioning, plumbing, new flooring and all new interiors to make this into a “dog” dreamland for our furry friends.

“We plan to join together as a united team, make these improvements over the course of one weekend, and invest more than $30,000 into the shelter to make it a better temporary shelter home for our pets in need in this part of Ohio,” said Mark Vouis, Vice President, Trinity Homes.

This project, coordinated in part with the Gigi’s initiative will help to pave the way to a better life for those pets in need in may rural areas of Ohio.

Gigi’s partners with Columbus Humane to connect shelters that have an abundance of homeless dogs with shelters that have an unmet capacity to get dogs adopted into great homes.
